Executive Board
The Briarcrest PTA Executive Board is made up of four key officers who work together to guide and support the school community. The President provides overall leadership, presiding at meetings, coordinating with staff, and ensuring that programs align with the PTA’s mission. The Vice President assists the President and often oversees committees or special projects, stepping in when needed to keep initiatives moving forward. The Secretary maintains accurate records of meetings and correspondence, ensuring families have clear access to information and decisions. The Treasurer manages the PTA’s finances with transparency and accountability, preparing budgets, tracking income and expenses, and presenting regular financial reports. Together, these roles form the foundation of a collaborative team dedicated to enriching every child’s learning experience and strengthening connections between home and school.
Committee Heads
Serving as a committee head on the Briarcrest PTA is both a leadership role and a chance to make a lasting impact on our school community. Committee heads guide vital areas such as fundraising, after school enrichment programs, family advocacy, communications, art docent, art reflections, membership, and yearbook. Each leader brings creativity, organization, and collaboration to their committee, ensuring that programs run smoothly and families feel connected.
Committee heads are essential partners to the Executive Board, attending monthly board meetings to share updates, coordinate efforts, and help shape the direction of the PTA. Event Leads play a vital role in bringing Briarcrest’s most beloved traditions to life. From movie nights and the Glow in the Dark Dance to skate nights, the ice cream social, and the Bulldog Breakfast, these leaders coordinate the details that make each gathering memorable. Event Leads are invited to attend monthly board meetings—especially as their event approaches—to share updates, align logistics, and ensure strong support from the PTA.
By stepping into this role, Event Leads become the heartbeat of our school celebrations, creating joyful experiences that strengthen community connections and give families lasting memories.
