Lando Learning: LEGO Robotics and Engineering (1-5)

In this hands‑on, creativity‑powered class, students dive into real engineering challenges using LEGO bricks as their building tools. Each week, they design, prototype, and test their own solutions—learning how to think like engineers as they explore structures, mechanisms, and problem‑solving techniques. Instead of following step‑by‑step instructions, students experiment with their own ideas, gaining confidence as they build houses, vehicles, and imaginative creations that must stand up to real‑world tests. Through guided challenges, students learn key concepts like stability, force, iteration, and design thinking. They collaborate with classmates, refine their ideas, and leave each session with something they can proudly say, “I made that.”

8 sessions offered Fridays in the Cafeteria from April 10 to June 5 at 3:10-4:10PM. No class on April 24.
